The contracting arm of Air Cool Engineering (Midlands) Ltd has carried out contracts ranging from £1,000 to over £3,000,000 which included numerous fast track fit-outs for offices and shops, a couple horrendously fast, sound recording studios, research laboratories and centres, close control computer installations large production units, large office blocks with two-pipe, four-pipe and VRV along with numerous prestigious residential properties.

Over the recent years it has become evident in order to maintain modern day HVAC equipment with it’s associated technology, plus ensuring the completed project runs economically and manufacturers warranties are kept, a high degree of engineering and control systems excellence is required.

We specialise in VRV/VRF and DX air conditioning systems, whether it be comfort cooling and heating in the form of variable refrigerant volume heat recovery systems or close control systems for computer rooms/clean rooms, etc. We also have an ‘in house’ design team for all Mechanical Services involving new build and refurbishment projects

Where air conditioning VRV/VRF is the greatest section of the mechanical works on a project we can be more cost effective than using a traditional mechanical contractor. We can offer a total mechanical package including the air conditioning for heating and comfort cooling, hot and cold water, sanitary ware, ventilation etc, with the majority of the works done in house.

Our in house team carry out air conditioning installations, hot and cold water supplies and sanitary ware, therefore have more control on the quality of the project and on the programme in general.

We have found that VRV/VRF is usually more commercially viable than 4 pipe fan coil unit systems, taking less time to install, less builder works and using up less plant space. With the introduction of the Climate Change Levy tax, there is an energy rebate in the 1st year using these types of systems, as well as being one of the more efficient types of systems on the market for heating and cooling.
